Found it!  Apparently this was included in Palm Sunday, but I don’t remember reading it there. Ah, so it goes. Kurt Vonnegut: “The Big Space Fuck”

Baader-Meinhoffing it
A month ago I had never heard of Cotard’s Syndrome. In that time I’ve read, heard, and seen it mentioned no less than four times. I’m assuming there’ll be a sappy crap Ron Howard movie about it out by year’s end.

The Big Space Fuck
Just read my new-favorite Kurt Vonnegut story “The Big Space Fuck” in a 1972 collection edited by Harlan Ellison called Again, Dangerous Visions. I have no idea why this wasn’t included in Bagombo Snuff Box it is hilarious and oddly prescient on the kids-suing-their-parents front. Find it and read it, if you can.

Y’know?  If it weren’t for all the bad lip-synching and stupid dancing, I might really like Glee.  #glee

One Death Star for $15 Septillion? What a deal! →
Finally!  Someone’s done the math.  Also, GOT and I recently spent a few argumentative hours arriving at the conclusion that according the lyrics of “Randy Described Eternity” by Built To Spill it would take roughly 386 trillion trillion (or maybe its septillion) years to wear a metal ball of aluminum (our conjecture) 10 times the size of Jupiter down to a pea using a feather,...

Dug this up in a three year old email.  So it’s old news naturally, but if you’ve never read it before… you should read it.  I guess.

Season 2?  While I enjoyed all, what, 4 episodes of this last spring, I was very surprised to see it on Hulu this afternoon.  Catch it while you can…

WatchWatch
Y’know, I never watched this show religiously but every time I catch one in syndication I enjoy it.  This final episode really encapsulates everything that makes it a good show and one of the more consistently well-written comedies in the last decade.  Mm-hm.

For anyone who may be working on two computers this program is great.  I’ve got my tower in my office and have been using a borrowed laptop at home and this program makes the upkeep of my constant-use files incredibly easy.  I never have to remember my thumb drive again.

@lowindustrial:  Funny, my copy of FD had no problems with Snow Leopard, but I think that’s because it lives on its original hard drive (from the previous computer) which is separate from Leopard. Pro-tip: Deactivate Final Draft before you install Snow Leopard, because it’ll ask to be activated again afterwards.
